DIMITRA ITD, as certified vocational training institute, has been active in the organization, implementation of programs within the ESF framework and other National/European actions since 1989. DIMITRA has trained and offered its services to more than 20,000 people. We provide professional training to unemployed, socially sensitive groups, migrants aiming to the acquisition of skills for a successful integration into the labour market. DIMITRA is experienced in running large partnership projects, like the EQUAL "CommediaNet". In our capacity as the CommediaNet leader we have developed media tools and innovative training for marginalised groups, in formal and informal education settings and with disadvantaged communities. CommediaNet has been presented as an Equal winning story in 2008 at the “Powering a new Future: European Meeting on Social Innovation and Transnational Cooperation. The ESF Delivering the Lisbon Strategy” conference, organised by the European Commission, DG Employment.

The Chamber of Larisa is an organization operating (since 1946) within an elected administration under the Ministry of Development.
